2. Thank the person which tagged you.
3. Write 10 facts about you.

10 things about me:
In september, I'll move out and will live on my own for the first time.
I prefer being five minutes early than being five minutes late.
I'm really bad when it comes to understanding songtexts. I've got to listen to a song several times until I understand it, even when it's in german.
I've got 13 ear piercings, whereof 7 I pierced myself (whithout ever having problems).
I think that lovely lingerie is the most beautiful piece of clothing a woman can wear.
I like winter better than summer.
My favourite jewellery item are rings.
Since Lolita came into my live, my shoes collection almost doubled.
I can run 10 miles whithout a problem, although I don't look like.
If I ever own a house, I'll turn one room into a library.

I give the award to Marzi Panik.

°~°~°~°

Now for something different I did over the last few days, enjoying the newly gained freedom xD. I sewed another sweet lolita skirt!

I wonder why it took so long for me to realise how much I love mint green! There are two different fabrics, one with cute cupcakes and little polka dots and a plain one with bigger polka dots.

For the waistband, I made a shirring on the sides.

As you can see, I had a lot of fun with my ruffle foot xD. That's about nine meters ruffles (>.<).
I also made a matching head bow on an alice band:

Its huuugeee. ^^
Then, I tried something new and made an attempt with fimo:

I hope it's identifiable. It should be a cupcake on a pearl necklace, decorated with a pearl, rhinestones and a little bow.
The matching earrings are just pearls and bows:

[ Insert Adequate Title Here ]

Hello,

so despite the awful hot weather (when I'm grown up, I'll move notrthward xD ), I'm already thinking of autumn again - at leat concerning my wardrobe. When I saw that wonderful dark green woven fabric in the sale, I couldn't resist but make a circular skirt with matching cape.

Worn with a petticoat, the skirt gives an a-shape, which I think looks lovely with classic lolita.

For the cape, I used Natron's tutorial, which works really good.

That's what I was wearing:

Dress: handmade
Shoes: Pin Up Couture
Belt: Tally Weijl
Alice band: Claire's

Cream & Champagne

Good morning!

Yesterday, it was quite hot outside, so I spent half the day inside, where it was comfortably cool and sewed a bit (^.^)

First, I took the pattern for the blouse 124-062011 and altered it a bit; so I elongated the sleeves and generally took some wideness off.

The fabric is a beautiful cream-coloured cotton fabric with embroideries.

Another change I made is the lacing at the neckline, I found I more suitable than the suggested elastic band.

°~°~°~°

Then, I had this piece of satin lying around. The colour is a wonderful chamagne, but what to do with satin exept a wedding dress? (It wasn't enough for a wedding dress anyway). So it became an underskirt.

Basically, it's a two-tiered skirt, to give the skirt worn over it some shape.

*THE* Dress

Hi folks,

I hope you're all well. I'm actually in the final throes of my oral exams, but I couldn't help but sewing the dress for the graduation ceremony...
For the upper part of the dress, I took the Burda Styla pattern for dress 116-062011 (Sue, is it the same as you use? I noticed afterwards - I'm sorry, Ididn't mean to copy you!).
I changed the neckline slightly (at least I thought so), and ended up in having a quite plunging neckline, which is really unusual to wear for me. The skirt is also costumized and consists now of a gathered panel, nothing outstanding.

As announced, it's black xD.
I used tons of chiffon, the lining is satin. I like the neckline with the neckholder straps a lot, that's why I chose this particuliar pattern (^.^)

The dress doesn't fit Venus too well, so please ignore the fact that it looks rather crumpled.

It's closed with a zipper on the left side.

An idea how to style it. I thougt about red highlights, like the belt, red shoes and maybe a red alice band. What do you think?
I really, really tride to keep it simple, but I can't abandon the impression I'll be hopelessly overdressed - nevertheless.

There Are Many Reasons To Believe In A Better World

I can't help it, but this commercial never fails to make me want to cry  (it's such a shame, I mean, it's only a soft drink, damn!)

White Ladybug

Hi my dears,

How are you?
I was lucky to find a bit time to sew a bit (*_*)

I got a fabulous white, sheer fabric with cute navy blue polka dots, and since polka dots seem to be en vogue this summer (again?), I decided to make a blouse.

I used the Burda pattern nr. 8153, so it's rather loose-fitting and as such perfect for summertime.

The fabric is a polyester viscose mix and very cool and comfortable on bare skin. I'm glad this fabric is very easy-care and only needs little ironing to look uncrinkled.

Can you spot the tiny anchors on the buttons? I tried to add a little sailor feeling using them (^.^). I think the blouse will look nice with my navy blue highwaist skirt.

I'm quite proud of how the blouse is processed, I really tried to work neatly this time. In order that it also looks pretty inside, I made french seams.

Next project will be the dress for my graduation ceremony, it's going to be - surprise, surprise - black (>.<)

All The Small Things

...that make my life so much better (>.<)
I guess as soon as I move and start studying, I'll have to cut down on shopping drastically, since I'll need the money for a bit more important things like living and food and stuff...

Well, back to the main point of this post: shopping! xD

The first item was a pair of new Converse chucks. My current pair unraveled into its components, so I wanted new ones. Chucks are my all time favourite casual shoes, and, according to my new obsession with lilac, I looked for lilac/purple ones. I was so lucky to find a pair in my size, second hand, as good as new, for not even half of the price, yay! Ebay, I love you!

I love love love the colour!

Then, after coming across it on several fashion blogs, I visited the online shop romwe.com, where they have quite cool stuff. Well, I didn't get any clothes, I'm so picky with clothes since I sew them on my own, but we all know how much I love jewellery, and I found some extremely pretty things there!
I think the service was quite good, they shipped quick and there were no problems at all.
The accessoires came in this cute present box:

And that's what was inside:

A purple butterfly ring, a snake ring, and a flowery bracelet

Last parcel ( I love opening parcels, it's like christmas ^^) was an order from qutieland.

A doctor-styled bag in white. The quality is surprisingly good, it's still a bit crumply, but I think this will go away when I used it a few times. They say it's not applicable for heavy items, and I guess it's good to mind this advice, but besides that, I'm very content.

Then, the thing I was waiting for most eagerly: frilled rhs! I love them, they're so awesome, I can't wait doing a gothic or bittersweet lolita coord with them!
Actually, I've been thinking about costumizing the soles on the side, because there is so much space empty xD. I thought about rhinestones or something, what do you think? Is this even allowed. or should the soles been left empty and flawless?
