Hello darlings!

I know, it's still more than a month until a new year begins, but after seeing it on Facebook, I couldn't restist to buy a new calendar (^.^).
It's from Annie Bertram, an imho very talented photographer, and features beautiful girls in stunning outfits. So inspiring!

The shipping was incredibly fast, I got it two days after I ordered and paid via PayPal.
When I opened the envelope, some nice postcards and flyers fell out.

I love getting these kinds of things, I'll put them in my inspiration folder (^.^).

Degas Exhibition

Hello my dear readers,

I hope you all had a pleasant weekend.

Today, I was at the Fondation Beyeler, a museum in Basel. 

Currently, there is an exhibition of Edgar Degas' late work, so the paintings, sculptures and photographies he made around 1900. I'm not very experted when it comes to visual arts, but Degas is an artist whose work I enjoy.

The paintings and sculptures of the dancers were naturally my favourite part of the exhibition. I admire how accurat Degas worked when it came to posture and expression, while still having an affinity for details.

I liked especially how he painted the tutus of the dancers. Some remided me of peacock feathers, so beautiful!

However, possibly my favourite piece was the one of the lady in front of the mirror, Devant le miroir. So elegant!

I decided to wear my new blouse from Innocent World and the new wig from GothicLolitaWigs:

I really like how this outfit turned out. Unfortunately, the sleeves of the blouse are quite short (>.<). And the shoes don't match the colour of the jsk precisely. But besides that, I think it's not too bad (^.^)

I found this little game on kinkeis deviantart: a Pin Up Maker!
Kinkei is a very talented artist who draws adorable comic pin ups, I'm very fond of her art.
Now she made it possible for all of us who are not as talented to create our own sketch! It is all very easy, you can build your model step by step, from looks over make-up to clothes and accessoires. The options are countless and the whole layout is made extremely cute. So, if you don't have anything to do, why not have a look at it?
